CrossOver Ministry’s Silver Anniversary Celebration

CrossOver Ministry celebrates its Silver Anniversary (25th) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Sheraton Richmond West Ballroom.  The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6:00 PM followed by dinner, jazz, and presentation at 7:00 PM.  The celebration will highlight the life of the ministry, and recognize the commitment of volunteers and community partners.  The evening will also honor the lives of beloved volunteer physicians Dr. William Martin and Dr. Richard Lower.  Featuring special guest Karen Remley, MD, State Health Commissioner.  Sponsors include Dominion Resources as well as Richmond’s three major hospital systems- HCA Richmond Health Systems, Bon Secours Richmond Health System, and VCU Health System.  Join with us in celebrating 25 years of compassionate, free healthcare!

Proceeds support the provision of healthcare to uninsured, low-income patients of CrossOver Ministry.

Established by volunteers in 1983, CrossOver Ministry operates a network of three free clinics in Metropolitan Richmond, serving approximately 3,000 uninsured residents annually.  CrossOver offers a full continuum of healthcare services that includes:  primary care, dental and vision care, obstetrics and pediatrics, health education, mental health care, HIV diagnosis and treatment, specialty care, and critical medications.
